From Cape Town, take the N1 towards Paarl.

Take the R44 marked Stellenbosch, Wellington. Turn left to Wellington. Keep straight on for several miles until a large T junction with traffic lights. Turn left towards Wellington.

After a few hundred yards, at traffic lights with large white church on left, turn right into Church Street. Straight on through Wellington towards the mountains (Bain’s Kloof). Leaving the town, the road climbs and bends a little. On the right look out for the Bovlei Winery, a large cream building. About a hundred yards on is a left turn marked Bovlei Hill Road. Take this and then turn immediately right.

After a couple of hundred yards at the T junction turn right again. The road soon becomes a track. Keep straight on to the end and you will reach double gates with the Doolhof D. Welcome to Doolhof Wine Estate!
